CLAWS
At Greenacres Middle School, it is our belief that 6th graders will transition better into middle school if they have help from our 8th-grade leaders. CLAWS leaders go through training in the summer to become effective communicators and leaders.
They are here at the beginning of the year to help 6th graders open their lockers, find their new classes and make new friends. Throughout the year, CLAWS leaders meet with their group of 6th graders about once a month to connect and check in. CLAWS leaders also volunteer for the fill the bus food drive and other service projects.
